Gaming the System. That's all it is. He get attention by being an ass. It works.

Recently read an article about a Russian fellow in NYC who sells eyeglasses online. He make Romy look pale. This jerk found that negative reviews and complaints shot him up higher and faster in the search results than anything else. Gaming the System. He actually treats his customers badly - even threats of violence to further his ranking in the search results.

Romy is just doing a somewhat milder version of this. Bad behavior gets noticed. Sometimes, that all that counts.

Agreed ! So deep down they are really boring ! So they need to generate something to talk about ! If Not who would listen.
